How to get there
The only way to get to Gozo is by boat because there’s no road connection to Malta with Gozo. There are three ways to get to Gozo from Malta. All three ways will get you to the Mġarr Harbour on the southeastern side of Gozo.
1. Public Transport & Ferry
Best budget Option
The ferry departs from Marr Harbour and Ċirkewwa (the northern port in Malta), as well as Marfa Bay (on Gozo). Ċirkewwa is serviced by a number of bus routes and is easy to reach from major tourist hotspots. The main port in Gozo (Marr Harbour) is reached after a brief (15-minute) ferry ride.
Additionally, travelers on the Gozo Ferry can just show up at the port; trips leave every thirty minutes or so. On the way back to Malta, you’ll pay for your return boat ticket, which is about €20 for a car and two passengers.
2. By private boat
